There are videos of a single Rhodesian Ridgeback chasing a lion up a tree. A Male lion, I saw the video Awhile back. It was something else, but I guess with all big cats man has something to do with it, and fear animals have instinctively of man. Rhodesian Ridgebacks chase lions and track, mainly used in South Africa. these is a remarkably breed, also known as lion hunters.

the canoe rescue

3 of my friends went fishing but the current in the river they were fishing in was too strong for them to paddle back so they ditched their canoe and started walking back on the first 4 wheeler trail they found . still stuck in the bush when it was dark they made a fire and slept in the bush that night . turns out one of their girlfriends called the police a couple hrs after they were supposed to be back and they set out a search and rescue for them the next morning . they ended up finding the police before search and rescue could find them . .............. they walked a long time in bug infested bush lol ............

DiY cat trees and catwalks

I just finished building the cat tree featured here for around 30 bucks. These will cost you from $100-200 if you buy retail, and you won't get anywhere near the quality. The leopard-skin carpet is the bomb, got that at a remnant store for 10 bucks for a 3 feet by 30 foot chunk of it. The tree is constructed of a 4X4 fencepost, and 3/4 inch CD plywood for the base and landings, the rail for the top is 1X2 white pine. The tree is robust, rigid and stout, is screwed to the floor at the bottom and to a wall stud at the top. It's not going anywhere, and doesn't even wiggle when my cats climb on and roughhouse on it. Everything is "screwed and glued" and there are NO staples used on the carpet. I designed and built a little carpet stretching tool using more of the 1X2 and a carpet tack strip. This enabled me to stretch the carpet as the adhesive dried, and eliminating the need for staples which can definitely hurt the cat if he gets his claw stuck in one.. The catwalks are 3/4 inch CD plywood with more of the 1X2 pine boards as a safety rail. The walks are fastened to the studs inside the catwalks, where we can't see from the ground. And yes, that hole near the end of the video goes right through the wall! I have around $200 total in this stuff so far, including two other cat trees and all wood, hardware, glue and urethane finish. The laser blasts from the enemy don't have any pattern or a pre-set direction, hitting one of which will make you lose, the arrows are tiny and difficult to click while concentrating on dodging, and on top of it all, you need to get three of your own lasers into the "core" to defeat it, which clears the microgame. The first attempt you see in this video, I won through a fluke as I didn't have to move the spaceship anywhere. This is a game that is actually frequently unwinnable due to chance. 2. "Jungle Pals" from Aaron: This can be difficult the first time you play it; it's largely trial and error until you remember where the animals are located. It's easy after that. 3. Simple Living - Wandering Around the Orchard and Garden in June, Eating What I Find

I take a stroll around the land in the summer heat and sample the delicious morsels I find. An unfortunate young hare had the same idea, but ran into my cat. The wild edibles I find in this instalment are: lamb's quarters, amaranth, prickly pear pads, purslane, wild kale, mallow, prickly lettuce and chamomile. Sunflowers are featured as a green manure plant as well as a companion plant for shading cucumbers in the hot summer. Basil is used as a companion plant with tomatoes. I also take a look at one of my second-year bell pepper plants, and munch on a couple of tomato varieties: Currant Sweet Pea, and an unknown cross between Black Cherry and something else. You might notice the sparse foliage on some of my tomato plants. This land was a tomato plantation sometime before I bought it, and the soil still has disease in it, so I'm forced to strip any diseased leaves off each affected tomato plant to stop it from spreading and killing the plant. Next year I'm going to have to plant my tomatoes on virgin land higher up on the mountain and work on curing the affected soil. My girlfriend told me she heard that old-timers planted onions and garlic to leech disease out of their soil, so I'm currently trying to find out more on that, if anyone has any information. This is only my second year working this land, and I couldn't be happier with it so far. If you are a coffee lover you might be tempted to pay for a cup of the most expensive coffee in the world. Indonesia's velvety tasting brew, Kopi Luwak, gives new meaning to rich coffee. It can cost up to $50 per cup. "The supply is very limited in the world that makes the price is very expensive," Kopi Luwak brand managing director Henry Fernando said. The reason the supply is limited has to do with how the beans are initially processed. Just a warning here, it isn't pretty. Kopi means coffee in Indonesian and Luwak is a wild Asian palm civet, a fury creature that looks like a cross between a cat and a ferret. The civet climbs the coffee trees to find the best berries, eats them, digests the berries and eventually out comes the coffee beans in its stools. Farmers then pick up the civet droppings and take the beans to a processing plant. Something about the gastric juices in the civet's stomach gives Kopi Luwak its unique flavor.

Entry from: Canaima National Park, Venezuela Entry Title: "Highest waterfall in the world, the Angel Falls" Entry: "First stop in Venezuela, Caracas, and arguably the most dangerous city in the continent. We had a 6 hour stopover here before our connecting flight to Ciudad Bolivar, and we had at one time thought maybe we should go and visit the city in this time. However, our 'bibles' said that it can take 2 hours to get from the city to the airport (if unlucky), and after seeing the taxis (which were big, scary looking, black jeeps) we thought maybe it was safer to remain where we were... We found a TGI Fridays, and treated ourselves to some American food, which helped to pass the time ok (just about). 2 more take offs as we stopped first in Maturin, and we finally arrived in Ciudad Bolivar at 9.30pm. It was an eerie ride to the hostel as we passed nobody on the streets at all and very few cars, and no stopping for red traffic lights. Apparently, there is a voluntary curfew after dark! Our hostel didn't seem to know we were arriving, but being empty it was not much problem for them. And what a gorgeous hostel it was, with hammocks, a bar and huge kitchen and gynormous rooms. Almost a shame we were leaving at 6.45am for Canaima! Yet another flight, but this time in a 5 seater plane, we headed south ...

Obviously a great deal as the mini van decided to turn itself off 90 Km from our destination. ****. This provided an excellent opportunity to stand on the side of the Bruce Highway and watch car after lorry after car after bus after car after car pass by. Wow, what fun. Not. Thankfully our stop was only 45 mins or so as another bus collected us for the rest of the journey. After a laboured detour via the bleeding airport, we finally arrived at the Roma St Transit centre (bus / train station to you and me) in the centre of Brisbane. Having devoured a ham sanger and a disappointing mango juice (thought it was OJ I was picking up), I was finally picked up by Simon & Petrina. I havent seen these guys for about 3-4 years, back in the days of working at Cat in Leicester. Sure enough they havent changed a bit, certainly Simon's **** taste in cars has been well-honed now, as they picked me up in some $400 Holden which was arguably smaller than my old 205 (ahhh, the peugeot 205..... now that is automotive engineering at its finest....). And it was off straight away, steadfast and true, north to the Zillman (Simon's surname) estate ...

Unfortunately, the transit between islands took a lot longer than expected. Although we could have taken an hour boat directly from Koh Lanta to Phi Phi, our travel agency booked a more complicated path to probably cut some costs. Long story short, it took about seven hours and too many transfers to travel the 20 km between islands. When we arrived, it was pouring rain. Despite the grim weather, the pier was surrounded by pristine turquoise water and the trashy facades of the little resorts that lined the shore were concealed with tall palm trees. Right off the boat, it was clear that someone let the cat out of the bag long ago about this island's gorgeousness. We were told to wait next to the pier for our hotel transport and stood in a crowded maze of hundreds of youngish, bumbling tourists buzzing around us -- shouting in every language imaginable and tugging dripping luggage in a confused frenzy. heres the 18th edition to quick tips! Raccoon Landmine....BOOM!!!!not really. its a tip if your going raccoon hunting to help bring them in. take a can of tuna,cut some small holes in it. and set it out where your gonna hunt. you can punch a hole all the way through it and run a cable through that and tie it to a tree or stack so the dont carry it off. this will also last a while since they wont be able to get in the can. if your running live traps on raccoons, this would be idea cause you could re-use it as bait several nights in a row.you could even take it home when not using it and put it in an air tight freezer bag(maybe double or triple it up) freeze it till next time you wanna use it. this could also be used as a feral cat,bobcats or other large cat bait or possums.so there you go raccoon landmines,quick tip #18. hope ya'll enjoyed,thanks for watch'n.check out our other vids and subscribe if you like them.we got more to come!
